Why does the parlor smell of milk?

I've been volunteering a bit when I've had time and someone would take me, and practising.... I managed to hold a middling form part of the time when we were looking for people, but I fell all the way into wolf form before long. Sarah seems to enjoy telling the story, so if you want to hear it try her. ;)
I got a letter from Reverend Craig. There's a family just moved in a bit ago with a girl who lights the candles all on her own; I'm not quite sure if they're staying, though -- her parents travel a good deal. I might have met her if we'd had more time there.
