Jan. 21st, 2004 04:17 pmSince I didn't mention it at the time, I will now: 'twas very very odd sitting in the laundry room with a giant frog. And Amanda. And half-transforming and back to try to give the right idea.
Dougie... words fail me. But you do sing well.
Beginning Self Defence -- Reverend Craig said I ought to start taking this again. Mr. Wisdom doesn't go about it quite the same as Mr. Logan. I still don't like it. I don't want to like it. (Mr. Wisdom said that was a good thing, even though I might need to know, the first time I talked to him.)
Creative Writing -- Ms. Braddock seems amused even more often lately. And... different. Her comments are different. Perhaps she's trying a different method? But then we've only just started again, really.
Maths -- Dr. McCoy is still teaching this. I think I'm not doing too badly, though I'm nowhere near so quick at it as some.
Latin -- I think this is supposed to be for the older students, mostly, but Kurt's letting me keep on. I do like it, though it's getting much harder.
Spanish -- This isn't too hard to start with at all. Well, the subject, I mean. I'm not sure Manuel would appreciate if I tried to practise with him, though.
Field Medicine -- I'm glad Dr. Bartlet is offering this one now. She seemed a little surprised I wanted to take it, though.
Anatomy -- Dr. Bartlet said I ought to take this too.

Date: 2004-01-22 02:44 am (UTC)As regards the concert...I'm...glad you enjoyed my singing. The rest of it...well, I'm quite embarassed now. Mostly about the shirtless thing. And some of the aftermath. :-/
As regards classes, well...speaking as someone who got beat up by a gang of kids because of being a mutant, self-defense is a good thing to know, even if you don't like it. There's nothing wrong with not liking it.
If you need help with math, Kitty and I are your helpful tutor people.
Latin and Spanish...well, what with all the conjugating and declensions, Latin can be tricky...unless you're me. :) Let me know if you need help there.
Field medicine sounds cool, and I can see how anatomy would really help it. If you know where everything's supposed to be normally, you can tell easier what might be wrong with someone.

Date: 2004-01-22 03:46 am (UTC)Well, the best cure for lack of fluency is practice. And I'm usually available for that.
