When Kitty showed me how to work this (I've got to go thank her) she said that everyone else could see it, so I suppose it's more the sort of journal that explorers and such like keep for other people to read about what they see. Although, of course, you're all already here.
Well, hello. I'm Rahne Sinclair, as I suppose you can all tell, and I'll try my best here, I promise.
Although when Professor Braddock and Kitty and... Kurt came to get me from the airport, I wasn't very nice to him. I'm still very sorry about that.
I hope coming to get me wasn't very much trouble otherwise; I didn't mean to take as long as I did, though I was very glad to stop for lunch. (It was more of an early dinner to me, but anyhow, 'twas very good.)
The room they've put me in is very nice; Kitty said they'd just had to make a lot of space since more students will be coming. There are boys' rooms on either side of me, and that's a wee bit strange, but they're quite nice. At least, Kurt was very nice about everything and Sam seemed friendly when Kitty and I passed him. She said the other was for younger ones but I've not seen them yet.
We can do laundry and a wee bit of cooking up here -- not real cooking, but little things. I like that. (There were some dishes in the sink. I washed them, because I was afraid someone might have forgot and they might start to smell, since Kitty said everyone was very busy just now. I only put them on towels, though, because I didn't know where they belonged, and there isn't much space until they're away. I hope nobody minds it.)

Date: 2003-05-20 03:19 pm (UTC)It's attached.
...I hope it'll be staying that way.
Thank you very much. I like most things I've had with meat, or not anything, so it won't matter very much.
Is there anything I can do to help? I haven't any supplies, but I could... clean up, maybe.

Date: 2003-05-20 03:43 pm (UTC)I don't know how they handle cleaning up here, but at home pretty much everybody pitches in. As big a deal as this looks like it's gonna be, the more help the merrier. Thanks for offering.
