Jun. 3rd, 2003 01:54 amI was thinking today and realised I have been complaining too much.
I shall stop.
Reverend Craig would never have put up with it so long.
If there's a specific punishment for it that no one has had time to mention, someone please tell me.
I have changed my default icon back to the one that reminds me of home, though.

Date: 2003-06-03 08:04 pm (UTC)Reverend Craig is my guardian. What he said was like this.
If you can change something and ought to, then get to work.
If you oughtn't to change something, and especially if it oughtn't to be changed, then you haven't much business saying otherwise.
And if you can't change something, talking it to death won't do much more than annoy people.
We might be thinking of different types of complaining, though. A little bit of griping isn't so bad, and sometimes telling people what's wrong is the way to fix it. I just think I've been whinging too much. 'Tisn't polite, especially where everybody has to look at it, and somebody said something lately that reminded me.

*smiles* Thank you. I think you are too. (So if you are known for complaining, you haven't done it enough to be annoying!) And I might come take you up on that... maybe... if you're sure you won't be bothered.

Date: 2003-06-04 05:10 am (UTC)Wait until my parents decide to come visit. Then I'll whine a lot.
Why would you bother me? You're nice.
